                        Shabbat Services at Na'aleh

Minyan Na'aleh meets for services and a potluck meal the first Shabbat of the month.   We switch off between meeting Friday nights and Shabbat mornings.

When we meet on Friday nights, we generally meet atprivate homes in east Denver. Services are lay-led, egalitarian, mainly in Hebrew, and full of singing and spirit.  After the kabbalat shabbat service (which lasts about 45-60 minutes), we come together for a delicious Shabbat meal and plenty of conversation. Everything is free, and there is no need to RSVP.

Months when we meet on Shabbat mornings, we meet in private homes as well.  Services are Orthodox egalitarian, whereas women are welcome to lead certain parts of the service.  There are three seating sections: men's, women's and mixed and services are mainly in Hebrew.  Services are followed by a delicious dairy meal.  No charge here either.
