High Holiday Learning Series
Please join us for a special pre-Rosh Hashanah learning series sponsored by Minyan Na'aleh and Kohelet, entitled "Preparing for Rosh Hashanah." It will meet three Wednesday evenings - September 7th, 14th and 21st - from 7:30-9:00 PM at Kohelet, 428 South Forest Street. This series is geared to individuals who are interested in spiritual transformation. It will be comprised of the following three classes that delve into three major themes of the Rosh Hashanah prayer service:
I. Malchuyot - God as sovereign
II. Zichronot - God's mindfulness of our situations
III. Shofarot - God as redeemer
The cost of the series is $36 and is appropriate for individuals of all and no Jewish backgrounds. It was developed by Rabbi Aryeh Ben David of Ayeka. The course will be facilitated by Jewish educator and Ayeka facilitator Stephen Kapnik. Please click here to register.
