Fall 2010 Schedule Just Announced:
We will meet the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month this Fall
except October, which will be the 1st & 4th. Here are the dates:
September 12th and 26th
October 3rd and 24th
November 14th and 28th
December 12th and 26th
All Classes are Sundays, 9:15 -10:45 am
at Kohelet House: 428 S. Forest, just north of Leetsdale in Denver.
This is an active, mixed-level class. No prior yoga or Jewish experience is required, however, participants should be able to get up and down from the floor easily. Each class is designed around a heart-centered theme flowing from Jewish texts, and has a strong focus on alignment for optimal benefit and safety. A Torah theme is woven through the class as we use the poses on the mat to practice positive teachings that can enhance our lives off the mat. Eliana's teaching is shaped by her passion for and knowledge of Anusara yoga (Licensed, Anusara-InspiredTM, RYT), as well as her graduate work in Jewish Studies
(MA, Emory University).
Class fee is $10, or arrive by 9am and stay a few minutes late to help move furniture, and take the class for $7. Please bring your yoga mat, blankets or cushions, and yoga blocks if you have them (if not, no worries--come anyway!).
For questions, more information, or to arrange private or semi-private sessions, please contact Eliana at elianafish@msn.com.
